দিনাজপুর চেম্বার অব কমার্স এন্ড ইন্ডাস্ট্রি (DCCI) উত্তরবঙ্গের অন্যতম শীর্ষ ও ঐতিহ্যবাহী বাণিজ্যিক সংগঠন। ১৯৭৫ সাল থেকে এই অঞ্চলের ব্যবসা, শিল্প ও নতুন উদ্যোক্তাদের স্বার্থ সংরক্ষণ এবং সামগ্রিক স্থানীয় অর্থনীতির টেকসই উন্নয়নে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি নিরলসভাবে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।

গৌরবময় ইতিহাস ও পথচলা

• যাত্রার শুরু (১৯৬১): ১৯৬১ সালে এই অঞ্চলের ব্যবসায়িক স্বার্থ রক্ষায় সংগঠনটি প্রথম 'দিনাজপুর শিল্প ও বণিক সমিতি' নামে যাত্রা শুরু করে।
• আনুষ্ঠানিক নিবন্ধন (১৯৭৫): পরবর্তীতে ১৯৭৫ সালের ১২ মে বাণিজ্য সংগঠন (Trade Organization) হিসেবে নিবন্ধিত হয়ে একটি অলাভজনক ও সেবামূলক প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে এটি নতুন আঙ্গিকে কার্যক্রম শুরু করে।
• মর্যাদাপূর্ণ অবস্থান: বর্তমানে এটি দেশের শীর্ষ ব্যবসায়ী সংগঠন ‘দি ফেডারেশন অব বাংলাদেশ চেম্বার্স অব কমার্স অ্যান্ড ইন্ডাস্ট্রি’ (এফবিসিসিআই)-এর একটি অত্যন্ত সম্মানিত 'ক' শ্রেণির সদস্য হিসেবে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে।

আমাদের মূল কার্যক্রম ও অবদান

• পাঁচ দশকের লিগ্যাসি: গত পাঁচ দশকেরও বেশি সময় ধরে DCCI বৃহত্তর দিনাজপুর অঞ্চলের শিল্পায়ন, নতুন বিনিয়োগ আকর্ষণ এবং উদ্যোক্তা উন্নয়নে অগ্রণী ভূমিকা পালন করে আসছে।
• ব্যবসাবান্ধব পরিবেশ সৃষ্টি: ব্যবসায়ী সমাজের নীতি-সহায়তা দান, সরকারি-বেসরকারি খাতের মধ্যে কার্যকর সংযোগ বৃদ্ধি এবং একটি ব্যবসাবান্ধব পরিবেশ তৈরিতে আমরা সবসময় সক্রিয়।
• মাসব্যাপী বাণিজ্য মেলা: স্থানীয় ক্ষুদ্র ও মাঝারি (SME) শিল্প উদ্যোক্তাদের উৎপাদিত পণ্যের বাজার সম্প্রসারণ এবং নতুন উদ্যোক্তা সৃষ্টির লক্ষ্যে DCCI প্রতি বছর দিনাজপুর গোড়-এ-শহীদ বড় ময়দানে অত্যন্ত সফলভাবে মাসব্যাপী বাণিজ্য মেলার আয়োজন করে আসছে।

সাংগঠনিক কাঠামো ও সদস্যপদ

বর্তমানে দিনাজপুর চেম্বারে সাধারণ, সহযোগী, গ্রুপ এবং টাউন অ্যাসোসিয়েশন - এই ৪টি শ্রেণিতে সদস্যপদ প্রদান করা হয়।

চেম্বারের সার্বিক কার্যক্রম গণতান্ত্রিকভাবে দুই বছর মেয়াদি একটি ২১ সদস্য বিশিষ্ট পরিচালনা পর্ষদ দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়। এই পর্ষদের সদস্যদের মধ্য থেকে দুই বছর মেয়াদের জন্য একজন সভাপতি, একজন সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি এবং একজন সহ-সভাপতি নির্বাচিত হন। সভাপতি চেম্বারের প্রধান নির্বাহী হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

এছাড়া ব্যবসায়িক বিরোধ নিষ্পত্তি ও দ্রুত সদস্য সেবা নিশ্চিত করতে স্থায়ী সালিশ কমিটিসহ বিভিন্ন বিশেষায়িত কমিটি কাজ করে থাকেন।

The Dinajpur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) is one of the premier and most prestigious commercial organizations in Northern Bangladesh. Since 1975, the organization has been working tirelessly to protect the interests of businesses, industries, and new entrepreneurs, while driving the sustainable development of the local economy.

A Glorious History and Journey

• The Beginning (1961): The organization initially began its journey in 1961 as the 'Dinajpur Shilpa O Bonik Samity' (Dinajpur Industrial and Merchant Association) to safeguard the commercial interests of the region.
• Official Registration (1975): Later, on May 12, 1975, it was officially registered as a Trade Organization, stepping into a new era as a non-profit and service-oriented institution.
• Prestigious Status: Today, DCCI proudly operates as an esteemed 'A' Class Member of the country’s apex trade body, 'The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry' (FBCCI).

Our Core Activities and Contributions

• A Legacy of Over Five Decades: For more than fifty years, DCCI has played a pioneering role in fostering industrialization, attracting new investments, and developing entrepreneurship in the greater Dinajpur region.
• Creating a Business-Friendly Environment: We consistently work toward providing policy support to the business community, strengthening public-private partnerships, and ensuring a vibrant, pro-business environment.
• Month-Long Trade Fair: To expand the market for products manufactured by local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and to inspire new entrepreneurs, DCCI successfully organizes a massive month-long Trade Fair every year at the historic Dinajpur Gor-e-Shahid Boro Moydan.

Organizational Structure and Membership

Currently, DCCI offers membership under 4 distinct categories: General, Associate, Group, and Town Association. The democratic operations of the Chamber are managed by a 21-member Board of Directors elected for a two-year term. From this board, a President, a Senior Vice-President, and a Vice-President are elected for a two-year tenure. The President serves as the Chief Executive of the Chamber. Additionally, various specialized committees, including a Standing Arbitration Committee, remain active to resolve commercial disputes and ensure prompt services for our members.
